The Practical Planning System started as the Estate Planning System and was introduced by Thomas D. Begley. The original system included automated estate planning documents. This system focuses on efficiency, natural language document that is readable, and smaller “Middle Class” estates, even though it does include advanced documents as well. As part of the road map that was developed it was determined that the Estate Planning System needed more in the way of educational experiences, community, and additional document sets to meet the needs of attorneys. In 2011 the name was changed to Practical Planning System, LLC. to help reach beyond just estate planning. In the process of this change Calvin Curtis and Ruthann Lacey joined our team to supplement the existing community of advisers to the Estate Planning System.
